Diving Deeper: Guiding Athletes from First Splash to Competitive Success.

Shamrock Diving Club is a non-profit organization run by a dedicated committee of volunteers. We oversee diving training and competitive events, ensuring that athletes in our club have the support they need to excel. We work closely with the National Aquatic Centre's (NAC) Learn to Dive program, welcoming divers into Shamrock’s competitive squads when they’re ready to advance.

Our primary responsibilities include coaching the diving squads, and registering athletes with Swim Ireland, our National Governing Body, which is essential for competitive participation. We’re committed to fostering a positive experience for all members by organizing social events, providing club kits, and managing the logistics of both home and away competitions.

Our squad structure builds upon NAC’s Learn to Dive program, with divers assessed year-round to support their progression through the levels based on their skill and development.

Each level in Shamrock’s squad structure is designed to align with Swim Ireland's national competition framework and incorporates the principles of Long-Term Athlete Development (LTAD). As divers move up through the squads, they embrace higher levels of commitment, skill, and competition standards, equipping them to reach their full potential in the sport.
